Sweetie, you have so much time to become who you want to be! :) And reading what you wrote, I don't think that you need to look down on yourself nor your life. You seem to be getting things together (at an age much younger than anyone else In know has attempted it!). You apparently have a very supportive mother, which is wonderful! And I think you are just experiencing the normal "what do I want to do with my life" thoughts that kick in after high school. Are you interested in going to college or a tech school for more of an education? You have all the time in the world to determine what you want - take the time to find out exactly and just remember that YOU ARE DOING GREAT - I lions restaurant state collegeam impressed that at 18 you care enough to make these changes!! Great job!
You have had more life experiences than most people of your age.
You have loads of friends, a nice apartment, and a car, and a pet for company, and you are about to start College!
Focus on the positives!
You seem to have had a fairly privileged upbringing by many peoples standards and have had many things provided for you (apartment, car). You also appear to be intelligent and physically able but have dropped out of school and can't seem able to hold down a job.
If I were you I would get back into education which would lead to a worthwhile and fulfilling job which would enable you to feel good about your life. You are a success story waiting to happen, enjoy the good things and change the not so good.
