There are two rooms. One has a table with three lightbulbs. The other room has a table with three switches marked on and off. Each switch controls one of the three bulbs.

You will be first be allowed in the room of switches where you can set the switches. You may not return. You then will go into the room of bulbs and must determine which switch controls which bulb.

SOLUTION: Turn on the 1st switch. After about 10 minutes, you turn it off and turn the 2nd switch on. When you go to room of bulbs, the lit bulb is controlled by the 2nd switch. Of the two remaining off bulbs, the warm bulb is controlled by the 1st switch and the cold one by the 3rd switch.
