What I want to do is that I want to use some software to download mails from my Yahoo Mail account.
Is there a way?

sorry, but to download ur mails from yahoo u have to have a yahoo mail plus and u need to pay. but u microsoft outlook software downloadcan downlaod any mail from gmail.
Unfortunately, Yahoo does not offer pop3 forwarding for free, which is the service you need to have mail forwarded from your Yahoo address to your Outlook mailbox. Gmail, however ( ), offers this service for free. Good luck!

Scott T, is wrong as usual , Yahoo does over pop-email. You have to know where to look and you need the basic skill knowledge of emails to figure it out.
I have msn, yahoo , and my work email combined. Scott please dont speak unless you gain some knowledge on something.
