mas securityIs it true that MPs, Security Forces, MAs and 5811's are treated like crap in the military?

I heard that this is one of those MOS/Ratings that get treated like crap because they act all high and mighty like they are the rulers of the land.

Is this true? Because I was going to go either 5800 field or Infantry in the Marines (or equivalent in each branch)
It depends on the person.

I've known plenty of them and some of them ARE a$$holes and they deserve to be treated that way. But then again, there are omas securitythers who are really nice and treat everyone like they want to be treated.

There are going to be a$$holes no matter the MOS or AFSC...
When someone gets pulled over for not wearing a high viability seat belt in a vehicle without seat belts, or get a ticket for driving 2 mph over the speed limit their love for MPs usually dies there.
I myself am not an MP, however before he retired my father was, when we lived mas securityon Ft. Hood there wasn't a day where we didn't get death threats via phone call, notes nailed to our front door, or something in the mail.
My brother was a marine mp and he never complained about it. He loved it. He's a Texas state trooper now. I'd say go for it
The MP's on my instillation seem to have it pretty damn good.
They are hard asses. Nobody likes the buzz kill.
